Ive owned this car for the last 6 years, without any problems at all.
Last week i parked the car at the shops and it was leaking petrol from the right hand section of the tank behind the tyre. I hadnt hit anything and tank was less than half full. Hasnt leaked after that day, (but i havent refilled the tank).

Anyone experienced this and know what it could be?? Are there any hoses down near the tank i should check to see if they are loose?

There are some pollution hoses that vent the top of the tank up to the filler neck, and then onto the charcoal canister.

It is a common prob in early Commodores for these hoses to perish & fail, however I haven't heard of a "modern" commodore having th

I had the same problem with my VS V8 statesman a couple of years ago. It was just the rubber fuel hose going from the tank to the fuel filter from memory. It had perished and this car also had always been garaged and only done 100000km.
