ok does anyone know anywhere in SA you can purchase the original cork gasket to make a new gasket for my HR fuel cap? She's leaking and that's not a good thing with the price of fuel at present! lol

I'm pretty sure you can get the sheets of it from sprints and the like ?? I know I've seen them somewhere. Try looking in the shed for a spare HR sedan than you could "borrow" one from when no one is looking !!! LOL

When the van's rocking........

REPCO or Coventry's (if you have Cov's in SA) would be your best bet. I used to put a home cut cork gasket over the flattened original Cork gasket in my LJ's and that'd last about a year before they compressed again...

Cheers...Dave

Cheers guys
Well Repco is where I started, the staff in there know me, so they are quite helpful and the guy I spoke with said he hadn't seen the stuff in years :(
I'd go the new cap, but at times my car s parked at a train station, so a locking cap is
