hey guys i kno this is a stupid way to do it but is it possable to remove my gearbox while my engin is still in ?? its in the tunneri am just removeint a aussie 4 speed and replaceing it with a working 1. i dont want to remove the engin as i have allready done it once this year but if it is nesscary i can take it out

Why do you think it's stupid? How do you think you change a clutch? For what you are doing simply unbolt the box off the back of the bellhousing and change it. You'll have to remove the shifter, tailshaft and gearbox crossmember to do it.

support the rear of the motor...undo the shifter,tailshaft and xmenber and speedo cable...undo the 4 bolts holding the box to bellhousing and remove and replace box and then replace the other bits...p o p....

Also, make sure you get the car as high as possible and support it extremely well on 4 jack-stands (or a pair of ramps at one end and jack-stands at the other...).

Also drain the oil out of the box or you will have oil every where as you have to tilt the box to get it out. And these boxes are heavy, don't drop it on yourself!
While you have it out would pay to check the clutch and pressure plate, for that you have
