can any one help me with information on my XD sundowner panelvan. i wanted to know how many were made and if any one had any pictures of them as i have found it really hard to get any good info.
fomoco said they had nothing and sent me a brochure on the transit van!!
any help would be greatly appreciated

From memory, they were yellow or orange with big vinyl transfers that went along the side and then shot up about 45 degrees at the back? 4.1 motor with either 4 speed or auto. steel wheels with chrome trim. Think I have a pick of one here somewhere

Hi, I've got a '79 with 4 barrel 351 clevo, genie headers, FMX, 4 wheel discs, 8 3/4 LSD. As far as I know, apart from the plain white paint job it's all stock. I'm nearly 50 and it's by far the best car I've ever owned. Unfortunately the beast is rust

Hi
Im also looking at buying an original XD Sundowner panelvan.
It has the original 250, 4spd but it needs a fair bit of work to restore.
Are they a limited number and worth restoring or am I better off finding a good standard panelvan to play around w

i have a mate who is making my stickers up for $1200 they need are screen printed with the fade. it is definatley worth the slug to restore it casue really how many of these do you see, i was told for a fully restored one it would be worth around 20k tha

XD Sundowners.... Hmmm I got one bin to Fords Brought new replacement panels, and thinking of getting another one that i know of. The way i see it and have found, theres stuff all info on them. Swap meets are handy you can still get lots of hard to find b

i spoke to ford last week and there were only 94 made all up so if you can get one grab it and keep it!
as far as the seal goes have you tried rare spares or superoo falcon spares in perth?
