g'day. hows it goin? i haver myself a holden grey engine. i got it, and 2 red 6's for $50. i was cover up and down near the chook yard for a fair while and on hte weekend i decided to pull it arapt and check it out. I was happy to find new pistons, timing gears, very good condition cam and head. but was very dissapointed to find that the 1st cylinder hade got water in it while it was down. so it was extreamyl rusty. i was slightly disapoinyed at that point so i decided to pull it completly apart. i left the crank in the block but removed everything else. i gave the 1st cylinder a hone and discovered that the rust wasnt as bad as i first thought. my question is...Is it really worth doing this up? i have a twin stromie manifold that i got for nothing off a mate. or should i just sell it all, as it is in very good condition? If your suggestion is to sell it im open for offers on anything. thanks alot guys

Hi Bardygrub, A grey in the condition you are describing is not easy to find. I would suggest you take photos of it while it's in bits to show a prospective buyer the condition it was in before you put it back together and sell it.
