Gday all i have an undecided decision whether to use my C4 auto tranny or Toploader 4spd box. 351 clevo engine runs real hard with 4v closed heads with extractors , what are the differences other than the obvious auto / manual. Iv never driven with a toploader so dont know how they fell but i have one and would like to use it, do they add more output at the rear wheels etc. why are they so popular.
thanks steve

If your toploader is good? I'd stick with that. If it's no good? It'll keep snapping input shafts. Even aftermarket ones. If your making decent power and you want to run a c4? You better be cashed up. They cost big $.

I tried the C4 option myself by k

If you want to run 600hp then you should use a C10 or a C6 which are better for that type of hp
