Hi guys,
I’m going to re-trim my XC Fairmont Coupe.
Instead of looking like naive in person, I decided to post this question on the web first.
Obviously nobody can give me an exact price however, I’ve been quoted $800-1000 to re-trim all my seats with full vinyl – currently velour and vinyl back and sides.
But what I’d like to do now, is re-trim the sections that originally came in velour with leather and the rest in vinyl.
How much do you think extra I’ll be looking at for the leather sections, I know there’ll probably be additional cost in labour, etc.
I’d like to be armed with as much info as possible, that way I can negotiate without looking entirely naïve.
Cheers.

Are you sure you want to go leather with the inserts? The XCs look good with the cloth inserts and they are a very comfy seat to sit in. When you say retrim, does that include the door skins? Did you know that repo XC coupe door trims are available?

thanks for the reply, I’m really not thinking of selling – so resale value isn’t an issue.
I’m going original as for everything else. It’s just that velour to me seems to fade/get shinny over time. Personally I believe leather is more durable/comfort
