Just wondering how much work needed to fit injected 5 litre into hq (can injection be removed and carb fitted, or does it need comp for crank angle sensor etc??). Would rather not have hassle with computer. Or better off just to stick with 308-253. I have a 253 and 4speed but needs reco (got engine free dont know if it even runs!) and id rather spend a couple grand and start off with a better engine.

You can use the VN-VSIII engine. Just but a Redline or Harrop manifold, 4BBL Rochester and a dizzy off a VC-VL V8, regraphed to suit the engine. PROBLEM is ADR compliance, unless you use an early block. |
