I am looking at buying a 1983 WB with a 5lt engine and are wondering if its elec/ignit is an advantage,as the car comes with it? Also, the engine is a replacement and I don't know if it would get a RWC ok because the orig was less powerful. The owner has not run it on petrol as the bolt in the fuel pump is striped and leaks oil or petrol. Is this expensive to fix? He wants to sell it to me without a RWC and I need to be aware of what expences I'll incurr. Can you help? Thanks

I guess it must be dual fuel if it's not runing on petrol! The electronic dizzy is real advantage (and is standard) so leave it there if it's working well. The striped thread in the fuel pump can be drilled and retapped, so no huge prob there. As for t
