Hey guys just about to embark on my first project just wanted some tips on sanding back.
Should I use an orbital sander or go wet and dry by hand? (I don't mind working my guts out)
Also when using wet and dry what's the technique? Like start with a grain size and then step down? What grain sizes should I be using at each stage?

Haven't done much myself, & it depends on how far you want to go. I'd personally stay away from an orbital sander unless you're going to bare metal - my experience is they tend to leave nasty marks even in 'experienced' hands. Make sure you use plenty of

Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but it has hundreds of answers.
You can rub all dry, or all wet, or a combination of both, both work, if the paint is easy to sand it will cost less in paper, and a dry sand is easier, if the paint is gum |
