The fit isnt that bad. Some or worse than others. But who gets down on their knees and looks at the thing from 6 inches away anyway?? People look at the boot as an overall package. They notice if it is missing. But i bet they will never pick that the

There's a bloke at oldholden.com who makes these boot rings, i think he's called KKK man or something, hope that helps.

Paul ^^^ above sells repro boot lock rings (he just regurgitated word for word what he says on old holden). They arent that great a fit and for the price you may as well hang out for an original - 100-150 is ballpark (60 for repro)
