Want to put electronic ignition on my 250 non-cross flow. Will the dizzy from a cross flow fit? Have received conflicting advice so far???

Only way that I know of that is right is to graft the shaft of the electronic head to your points shaft. This is a specialist job ~ a firm in Melbourne done mine but i do not remember their trading name

You could always get a pertronix kit. It turns your standard dizzy into a electronic one. Not sure exactly how it all works but its supposed to be as easy as fitting points and never wears out. They have been using them in the USA for years and all i'v

i have a 250 electronic dizzy for a crossflow a bosch one i will give
you some measurements so you can compare
from the base to top of gear 47mm
from base to end of shaft91mm
the shaft is 12mm
the base is were it sits on engine block just in case yo
