With all monaros slowly climbing the dollar ladder including 4dr`s, I think 5.0 prems are still cheap muscle (in the drive line sense) I have a HX factory 5.0 prem with T400 and factory GTS dash with woodgrain, in pretty good nick, has a stage 2 shift kit and Hurst shifter and looks stock as a rock with granny visor and prem hubcaps and goes pretty hard, i picked it up about 3years ago for $1000. I think these type of cars will be the next on the $ rise, get in quick before they do.

HK 307 Prems are the ones really on $ increase. The others to watch out for too will be HQ 350 Statesmans. |

My mate just got a Burgundy with white trim HK 186/3spd. Absolute beauty. Paint had crazed a bit so it was painted in matt black over the burgundy. $250. Best HK panels, die cast, stainless etc you've ever seen. It already has been fitted with a 307, TH35 |

Don't you mean a "labor" with a Utility.....Qantas, Commonwealth bank, attempts to privatise the NSW power industry etc..LOL...
Don't feel bad, especially if you can find someone that can use the body and back doors, even as a front cut for a Sandman. |

Don't be too perturbed about wrecking Statesmans. The only vintage Statesmans that are worth keeping are HQ 350's and WB Magnums. The rest are nice cars to own and drive, but will probably never pull big dollars. You never know though. |
