Here is my problem... We will be hiring a 22 seater Coaster bus from Budget in a month or so, and will be driving around 1500km with 15 adults and 3 kids. Kids are 1 year old, 3 years old, and 5 years old, and all are actually from America, so don't have baby capsules or booster seats hired or owned in Australia. I need to know what the legal requirements are for travelling in QLD for baby capsules, restraints, seats, etc. We will be driving the bus ourselves, and it is fully fitted with seat belts. QLD Transport had no idea, and said to ring the Ambulance, who said to ring someone else. I can't find anything on the QLD Transport web site. Can anyone point me to the right place, or tell me what the rules actually are? Can a baby capsule be mounted in a bus? I doubt it would have the anchors... Many thanks for any info whatsoever...
