Hi,I need to get rid of a recoed T-700 suits 5.0L. It is in the car for testing and has done 10klm. I am in the Brisbane area and I am chasing $1200. This is less then the cost tranny shops quote to recoe just the tranny, not sell a complete one.Cheers Lee

Just out of curiousity, if anyone knows, will these bolt behind a red 308 (turbo pattern block). I run a T400 now, but if it was to die a 4 speed auto may be the ticket? If so are there any complicated wiring or other issues, eg tailshaft length etc?

As I know it you tailshaft needs to be shortened to accept the T700. This is'nt very expensive though.

Other than that, I think VN T700 should be fine wiring wise as its still mechanical from when I have been told. VR and up require wiring harnesses

Sorry Hz Sandman, I think you will need an adapter plate, and you need to wire up the lock up converter otherwise the transmission will run hot and eventually fail. Also as u stated the tailshaft will need shortening.

Hi Jason, No photos because the transmission is in the car so it can be test driven, as mentioned it has only done 10klms. Send me an E-Mail so I can give you more details and make further arrangments if you are interested. I did the tranny myself and can
