Just heard that the original one owner Warwick yellow HK 1837 sold at a Shannon's auctions for $220,000. It's starting to get silly keeping them when people will pay this for them.....

Byron,

It may be silly and yes I wish I had a HK/T/G myself. But at that price, it would pay off the mortgage !! Well a good slab of it !

Cheers John

I was there and it was one of the most exciting auctions I have ever seen, there were 2 guys going at it from around the 180k we did'nt think it was going to stop. As it turned out the losing bidder bought the E38 Charger for $128k. A great day for Austra

Looks like it's fnally gotten to the point where they're definitley an 'ego' item. As much as I love 'em you'd never see me pay that! (Even if I had the money). Put's it in perspective when you could get two HSV Grange's for the same price!

I'll proba

Not because of what you've said, but because it's wrong. A HK GTS is closer to a 2-door Premier! LOL....

Can someone that saw the car confirm how good it is.

I heard on the grape vine “and we all know how accurate that can be”.

The car was fitted with a later model (HTG) front sub frame and still required a lot of work to make it concourse condition.
