Just wondering what people think of high stall convertors in a daily driver?

I am looking at reconditioning my HZ 5.0L with a lumpy cam (286) and obviously require a stall convertor around 2200/2500rpm to run it. My question is what are peoples opinions of using this kind of setup as a daily driver? Will it be constantly slipping while doing 60/80km or should it be fine under normal conditions aswell as when i sink the boot?

Use a Gemini one you can get them cheap and they are pretty tough. You can pick up recon ones . It depends if you find the car doesn't start to get power until you are down the road you probably could use a higher stall speed. Shouldn't affect the roadab
