Hi There
I am new to old Holdens and have never worked on one before. Just a quick question... Do you have to remove the radiator on a HQ 6 cylinder engine to remove the water pump? Car is in France and am helping an Aussie get it back on the road.

Nah, gets a bit fiddly getting the fan bolts off, but you can do it without taking the radiator out.
Was over in France earlier this year - didn't see any old holdens! Couple big old Chevs, but that was about it. Shame... good luck to your mate.
