Hi all i'm new to this.
Anyways i have a 71 xy falcon 500, she has major rust problems ( front floor pans, sills , boot lining where the rubber goes and other spots not as bad) i know i should give up on her but once i have delt with the rust i can do a kick ass spray job myself.
Anyways my question for now is the front floor pans the passanger side is more or less rusted out and drivers side heading the same way.Do i need to cut the floors out and drop new pans in or can i treat whats left of the floor patch it up drop new pans on top and spray under the car to make them look solid again?? i mean if i'm to ever go for a rwc will the pull it up???
with the sills not the worst i seen do i fibreglass them? cut them out and replace or can i cap over then with that 1mm sheet sills??
thanks
-Sean

yes the floor realy needs to be fixed properly but remember when you do it to do 1 side at a time and make sure you leave the most solid side in the car (replace the most rusty side first) so the car still holds together.if your going to paint the car you

Floors are easy as you can do them from the inside of the car..
I once had holes in the back and front the back I plated over from the inside but then when u look under the car there was a hole even though it didnt go right through.. so I ended up platin
If its not broke it will be soon
