Hi all. I’ve got an 81 XD wagon that is kindly donating its organs to my 66 XR. Will the brake booster off the XD fit the XR using the folded metal mounting bracket of an XW/XY?.

No I believe that the XR/XT had a different firewall section to the XW/XY's due to the XR/XT's having a remote brake booster.
Cut the section of firewall out of the XD & see if you can fit it to the XR.
