you can reproduce your owne pretty easy if your not to worried about the origonal look apolstry i have just in the process of makeing my owne and its pretty easy aslong as you kno some one who is good ad apolstry or are willing to pay 4 the re apolstry

By door skins I think he means the outer metal skin.
You are thinking of a door trim. :-)

Hi cd, I checked out door skins, The skins they make are not the full outer skin, ie they dont fold around at the top. My problem is I only have the door frame with no skin at all. Has anyone had success with making a door skin from two sedan doors????

I would imagine making them would be hard, but you may not have a choice, keep looking in e bay for secound handies, something may come up.
