I have a 1975 Toyota Crown thats in the process of having a 253 Holden engine/automatic transmission transplant and now I looking for a suitable diff. Just wondering if anyone has ever had there Holden diff shortened, I have a Holden diff from a 253 V8 HQ panel van and was wondering if this could be shortened like does the axles taper or are they the same size at both ends.

There is no such thing as a V8 XF - only 6cyl. so if it's an XF diff it'll probably be a baby Borg Warner.
