I have a HZ chassis (Adel) that I put under my HQ coupe and was suprised that it only had 6 bolts (HQ had 8), and thought someone had cut it but it wasnt. Had a look under my HZ kinger and Statesman Im wrecking, both 78 Sydney cars their chassis are the old longer style. The only ref. I could find was in a GTS with RTS ad that stated the chassis was shortened for better handling and less weight. Then for Xmas got the HJ HX HZ service notes which states the chassis in ALL HZ sedans and wagons were shortened. Any one tell me whats the real story.
thanks Leroy

I did the same with my HJ Coupe. Mine came off a wagon and was shorter but still the same amount of bolts, I had to put in a new mount in the body for the end one.
