I have an 2002 Explorer XLS, I changed the rear roters and all four breaks. All seem to go well as everything we back in with no problems or confusions.
Now to the trouble, my brake pedal can push all the way to the floor without bringing the truck to a complete stop. I took a look and everything looks as it should. I did discover, however, that when I set the parking brake, that I can still coast freely, no resistance at all. This was not a problem before even with the worn breaks.
My conclusion is that the rear brakes are not making contact with the roter, but like I said, everything looks good. Any ideas on what to try.
BTW I'm new, so be nice to me :)

Make sure that your caliper slides are free. Did you open the hydraulic system at all? If you did then it may need to be rebleed. You can also clamp the flex brake hoses with hose specific clamps so you do not damage the hose and see if the pedal gets bet

I am not sure what you mean when you say "You can also clamp the flex brake hoses with hose specific clamps".
I used the cheap pads, I have used them on all my vehic

i think what misc is talking about is that you can get specific clamps for flexible hose so it does not damage them. they look like a set long nose pliers and clamp the flexible hose to obviously allow no fluid to pass. clamp each hose individually and se
