Coul Commodorenut or some other late model fanatic let me know the original size of the VN V8 disc brakes, I am lookign at converting an FB to four wheel discs and thought I might upgrade to std VN V8 stuff I have been told the rears were 279 x 10.5 could tis be verified. and I assume they would be running the 1 inch master cylinder as well for this set up? Be careful not to cop a VN or VP V6 front rotor - they are 271mm (except for VP2, and FE2 cars)
You are spot on with the rears. You'll find a lot of catalogs will round up the rears from 279 to 280, and the V8 fronts from 289 to 290mm.

Yes, the 289mm rotors used on VL Turbo, VL-VN-VP-VQ V8, and VP2 V6 will go straight onto the VH stub.
You need to team it up with the matching finned caliper as I described above.
