G'day to all,
May I say first a Happy New Year to everyone. I was wanting to know what kind of cost I'd be up for getting my 186 donk bored out from standard bore to 0.060" oversize, making it a 192 ??? Just the price for the re-size no pistons or other parts..

Around $200 for a bore and hone. Although, if the bore only needs to go 020, 030 or 040 don't take it straight to 060. You will get no power increase (not that you will notice anyway, unless the existing engine is shagged then the increase in power will c |

always a source of knowledge. The reason I'm asking is that I am planning a partial engine rebuild in FEB, and I'v seen a rebuild kit advertised with the 0.060" oversized pistons for a good price, and I thought at least I know the engi |

Not really. A tune after the rebuild will fix it all up. What will affect it more is a new camshaft and different compression ratio caused by new pistons.
