I have a 500hp clev which I recently disconected the heater hoses (leaking heater box) and blocked the engine block outlet and the water pump outlet with blanks. The blank from the block has just blown through at the end. I was wondering do the two outlets have to be connected with a short hose because of pressure or have I just got a faulty blank. Anyone please. Thanks

I have had mine blocked off on my Clevo for 6 mths with no problem. Maybe it was just a bodgy block off. - Larry David

Rather than blank them off, try and create a loop. Much more effective, and then there is no chance of a blow off.
