I am thinking of buying a used Monaro CV8 2002-2003 - they seem to be coming into the $30-35k region.
Any advice on things to watch out for on these models when inspecting??

check for signs of a hard life,look for a good service history and one that hasn`t been modified , front end is the same as VT-VX check for normal wear and tear.

I purchased my 11/02 (purchased new in 2/03) CV8 auto in February last year through a caryard for $29,000. It had 29,000kM on it. It now has just clocked over 50,000kM and I haven't seen any problems with it. It had new Ventus tyres put on it at about 25 |

Also forgot, the biggest problem I had when looking for a CV8 was finding an original one. Looked at lots with modified exhausts, lowered, spoilers, big stereos and VZ CV8 bonnets. A few sellers were stating that they'd spent $10,000 on the car, but got a |
