What is the correct method for removing the factory plastic clips on a VX2 Gen 3's fuel filter? Sorry if this is an obvious one, but I don't want to ruin the clips. Cheers fellas.

You can get the tool from repco for around $17.

It's like 2 halves of a tube that go around the pipe, and jam into the quick connector to release the tangs that hold it.

Just be careful with the clips in the end of the hose. They can break easily and you can't buy them seperately. You have to buy the whole hose to get the clip. I learnt the hard way on my VX1. Make sure that the tool is seated properly and the fil
