Hi all, I would like to do away with the booster and master off the firewall of my Hj, part of an overall cleanup and was wondering if this is feasible. I would settle for just the master on the firewall if necessary but I wonder if a remote setup will reduce braking efficiency. If efficiency is reduced what exactly is affected e.g. Hard pedal, soft pedal, increased braking distance? Can this be offset by going to slotted rotors, larger discs etc. All help appreciated as it bugs the hell out me that I can't find relevant info.

A Fair few Jap commercial vans (Hiace, Express, Econovan etc) have their booster & master cylinder up under the dash.

These vehicles would be a good place to start looking. try to find one with a somilar master cylinder bore size toy your existing c
