hsv memcal for standard 5.0 VP commodore auto

Car seems to run fine, probably goes a bit harder too. Problem is the 'check engine' light remains on constantly. Can anyone give me an explanation to why this is and if there is a fix for it. Thanks.

If fact all Delco ECUs from the 1.6/1.8 LD Astras (Pulsars), 2.0 JE Camiras & ALL V6 & V8 VN/VG/VQ & VP Commodores. As long as the 'Service No.' is 1227808 you just fit the correct
