Hi All


Just wondering which plugs I should be running on a 179 with elec ignition, extractors, 320 holley, larger ports.


Should they be the orig eh ones or the VK (to suit dissy) or hotter etc.


Any tips appreciated.

use the plugs to suit the EH head use a brand like NGK or AC delco which are available again through some holden/motor trader outlets.
you will find the electronic dizzy will keep the plugs cleaner than the standard unit as far as fuel deposits.

If you still run the 179 red motor head you'll have no choice as they are a different size plug. HQ onwards used the tapered plug, before that they were a larger non tapered one with a washer used to seal. Remember to bump the gap out to 1.5mm with the
