Driving the HD to work today, took of from the lights and she just died.I poped the Bonnet cheaked fuel that was good. Cranked her over and thats all I got just cranking. Pulled No 1 plug to check spark and she fired up. Replaced the plug she fired up no probs. Then on the way home she did it again so I repeated my last and of we go again. On inspecting the plug I noticed a slight crack in the ceramic. WOULD THIS CAUSE THIS PROBLEM???????
Thanks
Eddie

Try a coil and or coil lead and check the power wire to the coil.As johnperth said a plug will only cause a missfire not a engine stop

Hi Mate,

Might be worthwhile also checking (or just replacing) the condenser. The condenser can break down when hot, and motor will stop. After a while it cools, then motor will start. Maybe the time it took for you to fiddle about, check plug, etc (15

Had the same problem this morning, and DAMN it happened in a bad spot to, nearly got run under. Nursed it to a servo did a little thinking and a little fault finding. Figured my HT lead from the dizzy to the coil may have been breaking down. Drove to work
