hey my ed has a tapping noise just under 2000rpm when the motor is warm any body wat this is?

sounds like the lifters.there very small and are on the end of the rockers.i think they cost about $20 and you should change the lot if thats whats wrong,its a common problem when they do a few kms

1st question. What oils in it? Make sure you have the correct oil in it. Pretty sure your ED should have 15/40W. If it's got 20/50W it'll tap as you describe.

should it be differnt oil because its done a fair few k's, not sure wat oil is in it, i had it serviced so not sure wat they stuck in it

If oils too thick it'll cause all sorts of wear and tear as it won't drain back fast enough.

hey i changed the oil to 15/40w and the noise is still there, does this mean that the lifters are screwed,
