Hi John, I have put later model leccy glass in HQ doors (i.e. not using the HQ glass and runners as they are SLIGHTLY different to the later ones). The later innards have the front glass runner/channel further back than the HQ. Probably the best adv Edited by user Wednesday, 29 March 2006 12:56:31 PM(UTC)

I recommend buying a set of complete rusty power doors and then it's easy. I think you need to drill extra holes too. |

Hi Byron,
The only extra hole I had to drill in my HQ doors to fit the power windows was the one where the wiring boot goes between body and door. Other than that, they were all there already.

Hi Scott,
One of the two wires that goes to the motor winds the window up, the other winds it down and they earth through the bolts onto the door frame.
John, I am still trying to find those exploded views for you. Hopefully in the morning mate...

I put power windows from a HJ Statesman into my old HJ GTS many years ago and it was pretty easy.
I had to drill couple of holes in the door back for mounting but the indents were already there so it was easy.
I had the doors off to drill the holes

Hi Scott, glad you liked the E-mail mate.
Correct, the HQ - WB's didn't use relays for the windows, all power went through the switch. If you want to run relays, you need to run two for each window (1 for up and 1 for down).
I thought there may be a
