hi just a quick question,,,
Does any one know if there is any difference
between the red and orange nedle gauges on
the GTS dash all mine look orange but
my fuel and oil gauge nedle looks red?
could this be a cause of my fuel gauge not
working properly even after getting a new sender unit??
is there any difference?

the needles were originally all red but sun fade/old age makes them go orange..
going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car...

Actually the red needles are for the early model the orange are for the later. The senders won't work unless they match the gauge. Bit confused you said you put in a new sender and the old sender made the gauge work backwards. What does the new sender do?

senders and put the new one in it worked fine
but would not read full.
at a full tank guage read 3/4

once i am at half tank of fuel my gauge will just go to empty.

Were these new senders actually new or second-hand? Brand new ones aren't expensive and are available...

Cheers...Dave
