Hi Guys and Gals,
Would anyone know what it would cost to have the rack and pinion steering from a VP Commodore shortened.
One guy was telling me recently some places have exchange units available already made up to suit different applications.
Regards
Sally.

Are VP racks power steer?
If so I'm under the impression they can't be shortened?

A mate told me about ROD TECH. He used one of their rack conversions in his FX. Rear mounted rack on a HR front end. Came complete with mounts and tie rod conversion knuckles.
Sump does have to be modified to clear the rack however as his car is fitted w

Thanks Guys for the info, I'm lucky with the 253 in the Plymouth as the engine sits back from the front end and not over it as it originally was.
