Hi Guys.
Another possibility for the origin of the myth is that when they were 1st released, HK had no 4-speed available for the V8 or commercials, the Opel 4-speed was all there was.
The Saginaw wasn't released until the Monaro came out in July '68 |

Talking about myths. A workmate used to own a HK Monaro back in the late 80's and he swears it was a genuine 327 but an auto transmission from the factory.
He tells the story that it was the local Holden dealers personal car and he ordered it with an

Hi Guys.
Once again, is it a myth or is it real.
I've heard stories of Powerglide GTS 327 HK's before. but I've never personally seen one. They could exist, because all the parts were available in the factory at the time. Then again the selling deal |

Well I guess it is possible but until one turns up complete with paperwork to prove it, we'll never know.
