A lot of people fit it under the guard where it can't be seen and build a shroud to keep the crap out and keep it unseen from under. If it's the front right wheel only that locks up you would have a separate problem altogether with that wheel cylinder. No

A mate of mine reckons something about it being the closest disc/caliper to the booster and this is the cause??... They work really well otherwise, infact that well you have to lock off the back discs to even do a standstill, the only way to smoke it othe

Your mate doesn't understand hydraulics. The pressure is the same in whole line no matter how far or near. The only time distance becomes relative is when you are bleeding the brakes and you do the furtherest away first.

With this being the case, and the fact i have 4 wheel discs, Would you have any ideas/information on why it does happen, and what would fix it. Even though i am changing the system to cope with the v8 i would hate to inherit the same problem with the new

Hi Jas, is your brake pedal pulsing at all?
Lock up on just one front wheel could be a number of thing's.
Font end alignment
Poor/worn suspension components
Calliper pistons
Tyre pressure/condition
Contaminated/uneven worn pads

At the time it had just had new ball joints, and after that it had to have a wheel alignment... so I think from what you have put forward that my problem must(more than likely)be the piston caliper, or maybe the pads... Don't suppose you have any ideas on
