hi,
whats the best way to remove the front glass out of a hq-wb 1 tonner cab? (without breaking it would be helpful)

Use a sharp knife use water to make it cut easier. Cut the rubber and gunk away. If it is atoughened glass it will take a bit of handling .
If it is laminated (it will be marked laminated or toughened) it is very fragile and will not tkae any harsh treat

Correction...that should read you can get toughened ones pretty cheap. Laminated are harder to find because they always break them.

The "other" way is to sit in the middle of the front seat and with your feet spread across the width of the screen near the sides, then push outwards evenly & slowly on the screen. Most screens will pop out, but you should only do this in warm weather whe |

I was scraping a bit of rust away at the bottom of the screen with a screw driver. No great deal of force and BOOM! The screw driver caught the corner of the wind screen and it blew out. Be careful. I still carry the scars.....well my undies do.

Trade price to supply and fit almost any screen (rarer import and some 4WD and commercial not included) should be about $165. You can get cheap laminated screens that quite often start bubbling apart at the edges quite quickly for that price, or spend an |
