On the Cheap how can i get my XF Carb going better.
I have been told a E2 Head will help is that true?
I am getting new Headers and Intake but what elses can i do on the cheap.
I plan to get a 2nd head to do the cam and valves soon but really want to get it going before i do that.

turbo-charge it or put a V8 in it.

I was thinking of turbo, but i only want to get the thing going first then i will look at spending the big bucks, as for V8 i will be starting a XD project next year and will be doing my 351 up then.

I am thinking of doing the same, but i dont think the E2 will work on the non fuel injected block, but i maybe wrong.

e2 head will go on an efi block,there the same.

But will a E2 go onto a standed (unleaded nonfuel injected) block, and if it does will it get better performance.

All right i have found out that the e2 will fit but i dont know if it will do much.

The EFI XE had a really low compression ratio (8.8:1 from memory). The XF EFI probably had a low compression ratio also athhough it did have a better ECU than the XE.

Based on this information I would suggest that an XF EFI head will drop your compr
