Has anyone done a V6 conversion on an early Holden and managed to mount both steering pump and AC pump up high on the ecotech engine. I have seen the VN series I with the AC pump mounted where the P/S pump goes, but this is not possible on the ecotech.

Alternatively will the A/C compressor remain in its place when fitting V6 to FE/C. From what I can see it will not.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Warren,
To date the only way I have seen it done is to use the new front end from V6 conversions. This new front end allows the use of the standard commy engine mounts and hence the A/C is left at the standard location.
I looked into a few options w

Warren, have a ecotech in a FJ and had to remount the compressor next to the alternator useing an a/c mount from Pat Gardiner but I removed the power steering pump and used a pulley Al.
