whats the diff between heads for roller rockers

hello all, was wondering what the difference was between vn and the old cast heads? Would roller rockers that fit cast still work on vn heads ? Thanks in advance anton

Rocker gear is the same as far as I know. The difference between the heads is the valve order. Have a look at the exhaust manifolds and it's obvious. Cylinders 4&6 and 3&5 have sandwiched exhaust ports on the early heads. The VL EFI units onwards have eve |
