Hi guys, A mate is looking to buy a 83 SLE commodore. It is all original and has been stored for 10 years. Has 200,000k's on the clock, and looks pretty immaculate. It is a 253 auto. White in color. Paint is in good nick with no rust.
Now what are these things worth?? The seller wants $2500. Is it a good deal??
cheers

Sounds pretty good, but do a really good search for rust.
If there's any missing/wrecked interior trim or exterior SL/E stuff, budget accordingly, as it's getting hard to find.

I bought an 82 253 SL/E for $3700 12 months ago in Tamworth (see my cardomain link and go to the Commodore page from my member name "99441308"). The trimatic clunks on downshifts when accelerating hard out of a corner. These Commodores rust at the seam Edited by user Tuesday, 12 September 2006 7:04:46 AM(UTC)

You only have to be in front at the end of the race. |
