I finally removed the index finger and started welding the floor on the old bomb today, haven't done oxy for years, and found the nozzle kept popping like a machine gun, have to shut off oxy, light goes out, relight and start again, this was driving me mad. I have got new gauges that are in N or kp or something metric and being used to psi am not sure what pressure should be running, usually use around 5 psi acetylene/15 oxy, so theoretically around 25/30 and 80 or so oxy should do. what am I missing?

Hi John,
Close enough, 1 PSI = 7 KPA, so 5 PSI should be 35 KPA and 15 PSI should be 105 KPA.
HTH
Cheers...Dave
