Have found a HZ Van for sale, guy says it is sandman, dont have tag numbers yet, what would i be looking for to tell if its a genuine sandman?

oh Also, did sandmans have side windows at all? or would they have been added later

side windows were optional these were the smaller type and 4 were fitted,the larger type would be after market

Unfortunately my website is deead at the moment, due to the hoster pulling the pin AND the current DSL wholesaler (Veridas) having major issues (I'm on my old dialup at present).

You cannot always identify a sandman from the ID plates. You can often tell it's not a Sandman though. |

As the others have said, there is a a bit involved, and Byrons site is brilliant, but you can do a quick check for things like licensed to seat 2 on the compliance plate, the remains of the metal thingy on the inside, above the upper tailgate which secure

Door trims should have horisontal ribing,
Full roof linning, Courtesy lamps under dash for driver and pasenger foot wells. Black/ yellow needle GTS dash with a fuel bowser as fuel symbol GTS steering wheel with plan horn cap. GTS body coloured side mirro

ive owned a HX and a HZ Kingwood. they also have full hood lining and courtesy lights under the dash.But do surf Byrons site,very good site.
