Guys (Mick, Dr Terry?)

I'm still toying with a tonner. Just not sure if it can replace the Overlander, but better for trips.
Just wanted to know when Holden started fitting Dana diffs to the tonner? And what Dana - 44?
Reason I ask is I wanted to see if I can buy an air locker for the diff. A 2WD is no good to me but a V8 auto with a locked diff might.

I thought all the leaf sprung commercials - tonner, crewman etc got the Dana diff in them?

Not sure what model of Dana though.

Cheers,

Mick

Hey Byron careful with the Tonners I have a VYS six 64000k only used for personal use, I have to take it up to the dealers for the 3rd Diff shortly and I drive like a 90 year old. New P/S pump at 50000 and many other little annoying things, Power locks ET

I've heard about VY's and diff problems. Supposedly fixed in VZ, but also heard that the diff oil might have been the culprit? A good reason if I buy a Cross 8 Crewman to make sure the VZ fix in late 2004 applied to VYII Cross8's as they didn't become VZ'
