hello. does any 1 know where to get a set of bonnet locking pins like the origanal ones for xa,xb,xc. they have a chrome surrounding in the top of the bonnet. visible from the top. Im told they that they are an aftermarket xy bonnet locking pins but am not sure?
any ideas??

The factory XY pin surrounds were plastic so what you are chasing must be an aftermarket item. I've never seen em myself. I think the only way your are going to get something like this is to get someone to machine you a set out of alloy and then polish

Try www.fomoco.com.au, www.superoo.com.au, www.grandtourer.com.au, www.xbfordfalconshop.comThe XA-XC type did not have the surrounds like the XY ones do. fomoco or superoo above will have what you need. Also check out Rare Spares.

That's an XY kit, though it isn't showing the plastic bezels that sit on top of the bonnet around the pins. They must want extra for those. The metal parts you see, the cup sits under the bonnet, the plastic cup sits on top and the washer sits on the cu
