I have been thinking of buying one of those auto darkening helmets but am getting confused.
They are advertised from about $60 to $80 to $140 to over $300.

What should I look for? Are helmets for mig different from plain old arc?

I have a Trade quip one which takes one AA battery & defaults to dark if the battery goes flat.

I got it last Christmas or the Christmas before & have never replaced the battery.
