Hi all. I'm re-assembling the rear brakes on the ZD and have hit a snag. One of the metal brake lines has a small section at the start of the hydraulic connection that is cross threaded (i don't think it was me i only removed it!). What size die do i need to tidy the thread up? Cheers

It is an odd thread size. I think they are what they call BSP which is british standard pipe. Just tidy it up a touch with a file if you like or it does not cost much to get a brake line made

You can also just replace the line. Any line from a borg warner diff either disc or drum will do. BW lines also work on the 9" diff. Had to use on on a mates 9". Raided his prior bw for the lines for a 9" conversion. XB Fairmont sedan : [email protected] |
